Consultancy Services for Preparation of Detailed Project Report for various Major/Minor Bridges under Mukhya Mantri Pul Nirman Yojana in Lakhisarai District, Bihar, India.
Government of Bihar has taken up a mandate for providing connectivity to villages, which are separated by rivers/ rivulets/streams/nallahs by making bridges over these water bodies under Mukhya Mantri Pul Nirman Yojana. The bridges are spread in various districts of Bihar. Consultant has been entrusted with 2 Bridges in Lakhisarai District need to be replaced with new bridges.
The broad goals of consultancy services are: Preparation of Preliminary Project Report based on preliminary site investigations etc. Preparation of Detailed Project Report based on design of various components of the bridges and approach roads .Preparation of technical specifications and drawings, bid documents for tendering and pre-qualification documents. Distress analysis was performed on all the bridges in Lakhisarai District. The analysis showed that both bridges were beyond strengthening and repairs, so these were replaced.
