Government of India has received a sector loan for Railways from Asian Development Bank (ADB). The first loan, amounts to Rs. US $ 313.6 million. Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd is utilizing this loan for implementation of projects related to strengthening of Golden Quadrilateral and Diagonal as a part of Nation Rail Vikas Yojana. MSV has done Project Preparatory Studies for the sub-projects by undertaking social and environmental feasibility studies and social and environmental action plans as appropriate.
