Project Description: The project involves providing Programme Management Support for the Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Component under the Water Sector Development Programme (WSDP) in Tanzania. The initiative focuses on enhancing access to safe drinking water, improving sanitation services, and strengthening institutional capacity for rural water management across the country.

Role and Responsibilities: MSV is responsible for planning, coordination, monitoring, and reporting of programme activities. The consultancy includes advisory support on project implementation, stakeholder engagement, compliance with environmental and social safeguards, quality assurance, and capacity building of local agencies.

Project Aim & Importance: The project strengthens rural water and sanitation infrastructure, improves public health outcomes, and ensures sustainable water resource management. By providing robust programme management support, the project contributes to long-term socio-economic development and aligns with national water sector priorities.
