Project Supervision Services (PSS) for Jhansi Division of Uttar Pradesh, INDIA.

MSV is managing Project Supervision Services (PSS) for critical railway doubling works in the Jhansi Division of Uttar Pradesh, aimed at enhancing line capacity, operational efficiency, and safety on high-density rail corridors. The scope includes the Jhansi–Khairar section with chord lines at Mahoba and Khairar, along with the Lalitpur–Birari doubling section featuring a strategically located flyover near Lalitpur. These corridors form an important part of the Indian Railways network, supporting passenger and freight movement across central India.

Role and Responsibilities:
MSV International Inc. provided comprehensive Project Supervision Services, covering construction supervision, quality assurance, contract management, and progress monitoring. The responsibilities included verification of designs, monitoring compliance with railway standards and specifications, supervision of civil, track, bridge, and allied works, review of contractor methodologies, certification of measurements, and coordination with railway authorities to ensure timely and safe execution of works.

Project Aim & Importance:
The project significantly improves rail capacity, reduces congestion, and enhances operational reliability in the Jhansi Division. By facilitating smoother train operations and higher axle-load capacity, the doubling works contribute to faster passenger services and more efficient freight movement. The project supports regional economic growth, strengthens logistics connectivity, and aligns with Indian Railways’ long-term capacity augmentation and modernization objectives.
