Detailed Design for Pune–Ahmednagar Expressway, India
Pune–Ahmednagar Highway 6-Laning Project – DPR (288 km) The Pune–Ahmednagar Expressway is a high-speed, access-controlled corridor designed to upgrade connectivity between Pune and Ahmednagar in Maharashtra, reducing travel time and easing congestion on the existing NH-61 route. This greenfield/brownfield project supports industrial growth, logistics, and passenger movement in the Pune region, integrating with the national highway network to boost economic activity across Western Maharashtra.
MSV International Inc.’s scope in the DPR project includes comprehensive traffic studies, alignment optimization, detailed engineering design for pavements, bridges, and interchanges, along with safety audits and environmental assessments. MSV also prepares cost estimates, economic analysis, and tender documents to deliver a technically robust, bankable report ready for NHAI or state authority implementation.
With high-speed 4/6-lane design the highway would cut travel time significantly between Pune–Ahmednagar and would be a great economic booster. It will enhance logistics and industrial links in Maharashtra’s key growth corridor.
