Project Description: The project involves providing third-party quality control and quality assurance (QA/QC) consultancy for the rehabilitation of tank systems and implementation of tank safety remedial works under the Andhra Pradesh Community-Based Tank Management Project (APCBTMP). The scope includes verification of civil works, structural integrity, safety compliance, and monitoring of construction quality.
Role and Responsibilities: MSV is responsible for day-to-day quality monitoring, inspection of works, material testing, verification of designs and specifications, ensuring compliance with World Bank and state guidelines, and reporting on quality assurance and corrective actions.
Project Aim & Importance: The project aims to enhance water storage and management, ensure tank safety, and improve irrigation efficiency across the state. By providing independent quality assurance, it ensures durable infrastructure, safeguards communities, and promotes sustainable water resource management.
