Consultancy Services for Incheon Airport (Phase II), South Korea

Description of project
Because of Increase in Traffic at Seoul International Airport, master plan for a new airport was developed at Incheon to serve Seoul National capital area. The first phase of the project which included two runways, taxiways, apron, airline gates, terminal building, air traffic control tower etc. was completed in 2001.

Phase II of the project was started in 2001 which included two more runways, taxiways, aprons, more airline gates and expansion of terminal building.

Description of Actual Services provided
Provided services for topographic surveys, review of pavement design for runways, taxiways and aprons, performed obstacle limitation surveys, and developed safety plan during construction.

Mr. Suresh Malik Provided construction supervision and quality control of pavement for runways, taxiways and aprons. Performed needed tests to check quality, performed quantity measurement and developed invoices to submit to client on behalf of the contractor.

The project was undertaken by Mr. Suresh Malik, Chairman, MSV International Inc. in his personal capacity.
