Track Modification and a railroad Bridge over US30,
US30 was realigned and widened. The railroad tracks were moved away from the existing location because of industrial development in area of existing tracks. Tracks were realigned for about 16 km. The project also included shifting of utilities, reinstallation of signals and telecommunication, and four level crossings, There is a 64 meter bridge over US30.
Services included Project management, topographic surveys, design of Permanent way, switches, bridge type studies keeping in mind no pier can be installed in the US30, bridge design for 64m span open websteel, signal, telecommunication and girder bridge, construction drawings for Permanent way, bridge, signals & telecommunication, utilities, BOQ, cost estimate and specification. Also provided construction supervision services including of measurements and payments, safety and as built drawings.
