Consultancy Services for preparation of DPR for development of Economic Corridors, Inter Corridors, Feeder Routes and Border to improve the efficiency of freight movement in India under Bharatmala Pariyojana (Package 5/Lot-7 Delhi-Bilaspur 200 Km) – Delhi to Dehradun.
The Delhi–Dehradun Economic Corridor under Bharatmala Pariyojana (Lot-7, Package 5) spans 200 km, focusing on rehabilitation and upgrading of existing roads to a two-lane configuration with paved shoulders to enhance freight movement efficiency across Economic Corridors, Inter-Corridors, Feeder Routes and Border Roads. Key features include elevated structures totaling 5,775 m and 5,048 m, addressing terrain challenges while improving connectivity from Delhi towards Dehradun and Bilaspur regions.
The award recognizes MSV’s exemplary work in DPR and Design Consultancy for the Delhi–Dehradun 6-Lane Expressway, one of the most iconic and environmentally sensitive expressway projects undertaken in the country.
The Delhi–Dehradun Expressway, developed under the Bharatmala Pariyojana, features Asia’s longest 12 km elevated wildlife corridor, a first-of-its-kind intervention designed to protect natural habitats while enabling high-speed mobility. With an estimated project cost of ₹8,300 crore,, once operational, this corridor and its related Delhi-Dehradun links will slash travel time from 6-6.5 hours to just 2-2.5 hours, transforming regional mobility.
MSV International Inc.’s consultancy services established the technical, economic and financial viability of the corridor through detailed feasibility studies, traffic analysis, financial modelling, cost estimation, alignment optimization, structure and viaduct design, road safety enhancements, environmental assessments and preparation of bankable DPRs and tender documents. The DPR also evaluated optimal implementation strategies, including EPC and PPP models, enabling swift and effective execution by NHAI.
