Project Scope: Rehabilitation of Tank Systems and Implementation of Tank Safety Remedial Works

Project Description: The project involves providing third-party quality control and quality assurance (QA/QC) consultancy for the rehabilitation of tank systems and implementation of tank safety remedial works under the Orissa Community Tank Management Project (OCTMP). The consultancy ensures that civil works, structural components, and safety measures are implemented to high-quality standards.

Role and Responsibilities: MSV is responsible for day-to-day inspection and monitoring of works, material testing, verification of design and specifications, compliance with World Bank and state guidelines, reporting on quality, and recommending corrective actions when required.

Project Aim & Importance: The project aims to improve water storage and management, ensure tank safety, and enhance irrigation efficiency in Orissa. Independent QA/QC ensures sustainable infrastructure, safeguards communities, and promotes efficient use of water resources for agriculture and local livelihoods.
