Feasibility and Preparation of Detailed Project Report for Improvement and Up-gradation of Kandra-Chowka and Rangamati-Tikar-Banta Hazam-Silli Road (Package ID-CK-2) in the state of Jharhkand

The project road connects the two important roads of Jharkhand namely Ranchi-Muri Purlia Road and Ranchi-Jamshedpur (NH-33) Road and it also connects Kandra to Chowka (which is very close to the Industrial Town of Jamshedpur). The project road falls in three districts of Jharkhand namely West Singhbhum, Sarai Kela and Ranchi. There are no changes marked on the project road and the road furniture is very poor. The changes mentioned in this report are approximate, as they have been taken during moving car during the reconnaissance survey.

The present project road, comprises of Two Sections, Section One from Kandra to Chowka (21.8 Kms.) and Section Two from Rangamati-Tikar-Banta Hazam-Silli (48.7 Kms.). Section One of the project road starts from Kandra Village (Km. 0.00) and it traverses through Raghunath Town (Km. 5), Kuchidih Village (Km. 11), Bansa Village (Km. 12) and Chowka Village (Km. 22). Section Two of the project road starts from Rangamati (Km. 0.00) and it traverses through Gumta Village (Km. 13), Jharna Village (Km. 15), Milan village (Km. 20), Varirela village (Km. 31), Banta Town (Km. 41), Pataka Town (Km. 47), TutkeiVillage (Km. 48) and Silli Village (Km. 49).
